Sundararajan Vijayakumar

Dr. Vijayakumar has over a decade of experience in software architecture, design, development and implementation of small and medium scale projects supporting pharmaceutical research. He has designed and implemented warehousing solutions for Biological Data, In-Silico properties and Pharmaco-Kinetic data, Chemical Registration systems (Reagents, Combinatorial Libraries, Enumerated Products), Synthesis Planning, Request Submission and Tracking System, and a Centralized Archival Solution for instrumental data with support for desktop retrieval. These projects were designed and developed for multi-national pharmaceutical companies with a goal of centralizing or distributing the solution to multiple sites. His areas of specialization include Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Mining and ETL Technologies. Areas of scientific expertise include computer aided drug design applied to small molecule design, QSAR, structure prediction of large biological molecules such as proteins, DNA and protein-DNA complexes, chemo- and bio-informatics. Areas of IT expertise include requirements analysis, architecture design, prototyping, data modeling and analysis. Range of experience include project management, technical leadership, development and deployment. Dr. Vijayakumar holds a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science (equivalent to a BS in computer Science). He is also a SUN certified JAVA Architect for implementing Java based solutions. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and American Association for Advancement of Science.

Mala Kansara

Dr. Kansara has over ten years of experience in life science research and software development relating to drug discovery. Her experience within the pharmaceutical industry include development and deployment of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and integration of LIMS application with other chemical and biological applications such as ISIS , Activity Base, etc. She is well rounded in her skill-set and can bring together both technical leadership and project management with strong problem solving, communication and teamwork capabilities to successfully deliver the project or application into production. Her technical strength include data modeling, application development using Oracle Forms & Reports, Microsoft Visual Basic (VB)/Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Web Development using Active Server Pages (ASP). Dr. Kansara holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.

Gopal Kumar

Dr. Kumar is an expert in the areas of parallel and distributed computing, data mining, and cryptography. His experience ranges from medical image processing to weather modeling and involve development and implementation of nonlinear optimization methods, clustering and statistical-geometric algorithms for combinatorial problems. Other areas of interest include numerical linear algebra, parallel solvers, and adaptive load balancing algorithms for massively parallel architectures. He is a recipient of several awards including the Global young teachers award from General Electric Medical Systems Asia (GEMSA), IEEE global design project award for ROVIS (Robot with vision) and the IEEE Vincent Bendix Award. for NAB (Navigational Aid for the Blind). Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics with a Master's in Electrical Engineering.

Kalpana Vijayakumar

Ms. Vijayakumar has over 10+ years experience in software design and development involving small and large-scale client/server and 3-tier applications. She has designed and lead the development of web based solutions for Internet and Intranet applications, OLTP solution for Business-to-Business transactions and client/server solutions. Range of experience includes project management, technology recommendation, development and deployment. She is the resident technology architect and visionary for prototyping new technologies and pushing functionality beyond the envelope. Recognized as an Outstanding Team Player and recipient of the AT&T Software Excellence Award for software engineering and Circle of Excellence Award for rapid solution development and deployment. Ms. Vijayakumar holds a dual Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Molly Choudhury

Ms. Chowdhury has over 10+ years experience in software design and development with a strong technical background in client/server and multi-tier component-based architectures. She has successfully architected, developed and implemented several solutions in a number of leading corporations around the world. She has worked on e-commerce solutions spanning newer areas such as Content Management, Personalization, Shopping Cart, Fulfillment and Usage Tracking. Ms Chowdhury's focus is on Architecture, Technical Excellence and New Technology and Product Evaluations. Ms. Choudhury holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management and is certified by NCC , UK .

Sherry Lau

Ms. Lau has over 15 years of experience in building software application and productization. A major proponent of processes driven approach for all phases of software development lifecycle, she has solid implementation experience on several projects using this approach at major telecom companies and is now practicing this approach for Pharmaceutical solution development. She is well rounded and has experience in many areas including requirements gathering, analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, development, integration, testing, deployment and maintenance. She is focused on product integration, testing, packaging and release management. Her other areas of interest include data analysis, data integration and quality assurance. She is our in-house expert in ETL technology and is also one our product specialist in DataStage. Ms. Lau holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Mathematics.
